Dr. Burch has 13 years of experience working with children and families to address a broad range of emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns. She is a certified provider of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and a trained facilitator of Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS) and Grief and Trauma Intervention (GTI).
Dr. Burch earned her doctorate in School Psychology from Tulane University in 2014 and completed her predoctoral internship with the University of Maryland Medical Center, Center for School Mental Health. She also holds a Masters degree in Art Therapy from The George Washington University (2003).
