Ms. Duckett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker using a strength-based approach to therapy along with a combination of cognitive behavior therapy, and play/art therapy. She has over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in Maryland and Washington, DC involved in outpatient mental health programs, residential treatment centers, the juvenile justice system, and foster care. Ms. Duckett is well versed in conducting individual, group, and family therapy, and has utilized Functional Family Therapy (FFT) with adolescents and their families. Ms. Duckett received her BA in Psychology from Morgan State University, and her Master’s of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
In her spare time, Ms. Duckett enjoys spending time with her family, line dancing, and volunteering with her local Girl Scouts troop.
