Dr. Bobbitt earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC, in 2019. She completed her predoctoral internship at Pennsylvania Counseling Services in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. Bobbitt has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health and substance abuse disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorders, alcohol dependence, opioid dependence, and co-occurring disorders. In addition, Dr. Bobbitt has experience in providing group therapy to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders and intensive outpatient group therapy for those struggling with addiction.
Dr. Bobbitt utilizes a strengths-based and collaborative approach to therapy, utilizing different interventions from various modalities of treatment. Her goal is to work with clients to identify their strengths and teach skills that the client can utilize to better manage the difficulties that they face.
Dr. Bobbitt is native to Washington, DC and resides in Silver Spring, Maryland. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, her extended family, and friends.
